Rajat Patidar Replacement

Rajat Patidar's Spectacular Knock in IPL 2022 Eliminator

A Memorable Innings Against KL Rahul's Lucknow Super Giants

An Injury Sidelines Rajat Patidar from IPL 2023

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) suffered a major setback when their star batter, Rajat Patidar, was ruled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 due to an Achilles heel injury.

Patidar's replacement for the upcoming season, Vyshak Vijay Kumar, was announced by RCB on Friday, April 7. This move comes after RCB initially signed Patidar as a replacement for the injured Luvnith Sisodia.

Patidar's injury is a significant blow for RCB, who had high hopes for the young batsman's contributions in IPL 2023. The 29-year-old had a breakout season in IPL 2022, scoring a memorable 54-ball 112 against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Eliminator.

In a statement released by RCB, the team confirmed Patidar's absence for the entire season and expressed their support for his recovery. We wish Rajat a speedy recovery and will continue to monitor his progress," the statement said.

Patidar's injury highlights the importance of staying healthy in high-intensity cricket tournaments like the IPL. With the tournament set to begin on March 31, RCB will now have to make adjustments to their batting lineup without their star opener.
