Gvardiol nets twice as Manchester City beat Fulham 2-0

Manchester City extended their winning streak to six games with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

Josko Gvardiol was the hero for the visitors, scoring twice in the first half to give Pep Guardiola's side all three points.

Fulham started the game brightly and had a few good chances to take the lead, but they were unable to find a way past Ederson in the Manchester City goal.

Manchester City took the lead in the 26th minute when Gvardiol headed home a Kevin De Bruyne cross.

The Croatian defender doubled his tally just 10 minutes later, finishing off a fine move involving Erling Haaland and Bernardo Silva.

Fulham pushed for a goal in the second half, but they were unable to break down the Manchester City defense.

The victory sees Manchester City move back to within five points of Premier League leaders Arsenal, while Fulham remain in ninth place.
